Our Story

DALSOOM was born on long nights behind the wheel of a truck. Life on the road was heavy, and I often felt alone.

But each time I looked up, the moon reminded me I wasn’t. Sometimes I could see it clearly. Other times, the weather or even the direction of my windshield kept it out of sight. Yet the moon was always there — steady, constant, silent.

I wanted to hold on to that feeling. To capture the moon, to express it when I couldn’t see it. So I began to draw. Sketch after sketch, I kept reaching for the presence of the moon.

The drawings didn’t pay the bills, but they planted a seed. A thought: What if I could fill the world with the moon I’ve carried within me? That seed became DALSOOM.

Philosophy

DALSOOM means breathing into the moon.

The phases of the moon remind us:
